Kateryna Babenko, consulting psychologist, project manager, organizer of educational and training groups, author of the booklets

 

In 1995 she graduated from Kyiv State University named after Shevchenko, the faculty of psychology and sociology. She underwent studies in different areas of psychological work - NLP, Ericson hypnosis and therapy, symbol-drama; she is undergoing studies in the long-term programs on geshtalt-therapy and psycho-drama.

Katerina provides consultations for women on the topics of increasing of self-reliance, conflict resolution, creating harmonious relations with surrounding people, renewal of the interest to oneself and to the life.

She also provides psychological consultations for children of different age - starting from the pre-school children to teenagers - who have different problems: difficulties in relations with the peers, unwillingness to visit school, stubbornness in the relations with their parents, aggressiveness, insularity etc.

Besides, Katerina is also working with the parents - helps them to build a better understanding with their child, to understand the peculiarities of the child, to find the ways of effective communication.

Katerina is the co-author of 5 booklets - the booklet on conflict resolution, in particular, family conflicts; "Conflict: a Threat or an Opportunity?", the booklet for women "I Am a Women. I Am Scared. I Can!", dedicated to the ways a women can protect herself if she is threatened by a society; the booklet for parents on the topic of supporting the child who has suffered from violence "Close by the Child"; two booklets for the teenagers: "How to Overcome a Violator in Self or What Do I Know About the Aggressiveness?" and "What to Do Not to Be Humiliated".

She carries out sociological and socio-psychological research.
