"Safety School For The Teenager", O.Vozianova.
This brochure was prepared and published with support of the Organization
of Young Christian Women, 2001
You are able to do everything!
Hi! We do not know each other. We do not know how old you are, whether
you are a boy or a girl. However, we know for sure that your life
is quite not simple now.
You believe that you are old enough and have the right to make your
own decisions and you even make them. But your parents and other
adults surrounding you often do not agree with your decisions and
deeds. They criticize you and impose their experience.
There are situations where you can argue and stand for your opinion.
You indeed have the right for that. But also there are such situations
where it is important to consider two things: your intuition and
other people's experience.
In this brochure we want to share with you our own experience and
that of other adults who can still remember how they were growing
up and what was helping them in different situations.

"What To Do Not To Be Humiliated", K.Babenko,
I.Didkovska. This booklet was published with support of the Alliance
Counterpart/USAID Program, 2000
The age of 12 to 16 is often concerned with the first
serious reflections about life. You can be thinking of what a person
you are, what you feel about yourself, your friends, your family
and even the people you don't like.
At this time feeling can be very confusing. It is the time of changes,
doubts, conflicts and feeling of danger. Sometimes you can feel
very lonely and separated from everybody else.
You seem to be standing on the bridge between your childhood and
the unknown adult life. You are no longer a child, not yet a grown-up
- but you have the feelings of both. It is the time of conflicts
and uncertainty.
And this is the shadow side of such age.

"How to Overcome a Violator in Self or What Do I Know
about the Aggressiveness?", K.Babenko, I. Didkovska.
This booklet was published with support of the Alliance Counterpart/USAID
Program, 2000
We will tell you about the spite.
When we talked about it, it appeared in front of us with different
faces.
It turns out that it can be joyful, strong, weak, and even a bit
shy.
It can have different names. Adults call it aggression and violence,
children call it psychos and anger. Sometimes it is confused with
the power; sometimes is has no name and people are afraid of it
and try to avoid it. And people who show it up are often just called
fools.

How You Can Do Things Differently. How To Cope With The Negative
Feelings Towards Other People", O.Vozianova. This booklet
was published with support of the Alliance Counterpart/USAID Program,

During such minutes we think that other people treat
us so badly. We fell lonely. We think that all people are just so
bad!
It seems that nobody can help you.
But it turns out that there is a way out.
Let's think together what you can do to feel happier.
Do you think that we perceive the same things in the same way?
